Director's Statement

This story is an amalgamation of my own personal experiences and those of friends also experiencing the extreme changes that come when childhood ends and the challenges of adolescence become very heavy. Many young people I have known suffer from depression. Sometimes they just don't know why, but often it stems from a single traumatic event that alters their life forever. I made this film for everyone that has suffered from feelings of fear, hurt and hopelessness in hopes they know it's normal to have those feelings. It's how we deal with them that makes the difference
