Father Daughter Dance
Mark Jude Poirier
United States, 2018, 13 min.
In English.
Includes violence and adult language.

His wife has recently found religion, his daughter's on the verge of womanhood, and Lee feels like an interloper in his own life. Lee ultimately reconnects in an unexpected (if gruesome) way.
Director's Statement
With Father Daughter Dance we wanted to tell a story about how alarming and bewildering and isolating it can be when the people closest to you are changing. We also wanted to draw a portrait of a working class American life that doesn't appear very often in mainstream film.
