Director's Statement

The need to belong is one of the most basic human needs. The Drone aspires to explore this need through a light-hearted, sweet, sci-fi story featuring a small quadcopter as its protagonist. We hope that the cinema lovers will also enjoy the references to classic sci-fi movies sprinkled throughout. The Drone is a love letter to sci-fi cinema, and an exploration of one of the most fundamental of human needs - the need to belong.
