Director's Statement
I never intended to be a filmmaker. I started out wanting to be an actor. I was cast in a short film but they shot the movie without me. Therefore, I was compelled to become a filmmaker. I was compelled to write indigenous narratives. I was compelled to produce indigenous stories. Then, I was compelled to direct those very indigenous projects. I was compelled to make a change in the industry. My mission was one of creating, "An Indigenous Lens For An Indigenous Narrative."
