Director's Statement

On its surface level, TWENTY TWENTY-FOUR is a suspenseful thriller set in a near future. It is a story of an alienated man trapped in an isolated environment, who experiences a nightmarish reality, of which he may or may not be in control. At its deeper levels it is a film about human nature, paranoia, the darkness capable in all of us and how this shapes our world as we perceive it. Being as conceptual as the film is, it was my ambition as a director to make the film as immersive an experience for the audience as possible.
