Elsewhere is about Hanna, a young woman trying to escape past mistakes and Terry, a divorced father who is trying to reconnect with his estranged daughter. After a chance encounter the two find there is much to learn from each other and the paths that lead elsewhere.
Director's Statement
Elsewhere is a comedy-drama about the feeling that happiness and fulfillment can often seem to have been missed; that they lie at the end of the paths we didn't take. It's about a lost young woman questioning the path she is on and an older man trying to reclaim what he has thrown away. Drawing inspiration from Ilya Repin, and the idea of atmospheric realism, the film captures moments of intimacy and humour, among the turmoil our two characters are experiencing.
