Director's Statement

Radio Sky was born out of necessity. I needed to tell a story I could make on my own, honest, contained, and emotionally true. It follows two people trapped in different kinds of isolation, a framed hacker on Earth and a young astronaut stranded in space, who connect through a fragile signal. The film strips away spectacle in favor of intimacy. I wanted it to feel quiet, close, and human. At its heart, Radio Sky is a contained film which examines isolation and the human need for connection.
