Director's Statement
The documentary follows Raul Paramo, overcoming obstacles and dangers to achieve his goal of mastering the style of drifting. I have never done a documentary before so the only way to express my self was to do it as cinematically as I could. Making this documentary as if I was making a movie, following the hero's journey. It was very important to me, to visually transport the viewer to Raul's journey, by using time-lapse camera techniques, up close and low car angles at high speeds and enhancing the yellow and orange colors to make them feel the heat of Arizona.
