A cancer-stricken father reminisces about his life through his young son's animated film.

Director's Statement

Hearing from my mom that my daddy only had two weeks to live, I was determined to make an animated film, Changyou's Journey, about my dad's life, to give him hope to live, and something to look forward to each day. I started drawing on my tablet from dawn to late night each day, thrilled to show the new scenes of the film I created each night to Changyou, who was so frail by then, he could only smile and nod his head with a thumbs-up sign.
