Wannabe musical legend Slouch is pushed by his song-writing-demon Nuffti to deep dive into his darkest emotions, while his girlfriend Lisa is pregnant and wants him to transition into a harmonic family life...

Director's Statement

Having hung around a lot with musicians at our rehearsal space in Ludwigsburg, I noticed a strange paradox: Many of us - especially the good ones - felt that our music was somehow dependent on us feeling terrible. Therefore, becoming a better, happier, more stable person seemed like a dangerous idea: Would growing up mean losing our creativity? Slouch is my attempt of dramatizing this question and offering a perspective on what creativity and our passions mean as we progress in life.
