In English.
Sixteen-year-old Kenzie dreams of hitting the open road and becoming a writer. Ignored by her parents, misunderstood by her friends, and battling depression, Kenzie's only solace lies in her secret relationship with Matt, an older boyfriend. Eventually, he persuades her to embark on a weekend road trip together. But can he be trusted?
Director's Statement
It's impossible not to be shaken by the numbers. Globally, over 1,000,000 children are sex-trafficked every year. In the United States alone, as many as 50,000 children per year are trafficked. If ROOM 107 helps just one vulnerable young person become more conscious, feel seen and valued, or if just one parent becomes aware of dangers like 'Romeo Pimps,' we will consider the film a great success and time well spent. Thank you so much for your consideration.
