A documentary exploring the complex relationship of shared humanity, culture and connection between Israelis and Palestinians and the transformative journey that follows when they are faced with meeting ‘the other’ amidst the difficulty of the conflict and occupation- providing an extraordinary example of what we are all capable of as humans.
Director's Statement
The Other was made before the attacks of October 7th and the subsequent war. Given the enormity of recent events this film’s message of humanity has become even more relevant. In the face of such atrocities and polarization, The Other showcases another reality, an entire ecosystem of peace builders and activists in Israel/Palestine working together towards a better future.
